Accounts Payable Processor

Basic Function and Scope: 

The job entails processing, inputting and maintaining AP: review invoices for accuracy, ensure proper approval levels obtained, and supporting documentation provided for all vendor invoices, employee expense reports and all insured claim payments. Identify proper general ledger accounts and electronically submit payment files to bank for positive pay verification. Prepare month-end accrual information and maintain current vendor files. Reconcile paid claims to source system.

 Qualifications:

Successful candidate will have 3+ years accounts payable experience, proficiency with Word and Excel, excellent communication skills, professional in attitude and appearance and should be highly attentive to detail.  The candidate having experience in the insurance industry and claims processing and/or bookkeeping is a plus.
